The greatest happiness principle I embraced was understanding...

...'Everything is FOR you'. This is the greatest happiness principle I embraced. because it changed how I saw difficult situations. I no longer feared them. 

  1. Truth be told, your dreams will most definitely hurt! But everything in life works for you. EVERYTHING!
  2. You will most definitely FAIL!In front of everyone you know. Your face will get bright red. 
  3. You'll stand up. Dust yourself off. And get right back on your dream bike. How else will your wings grow? How else will you fly? 
  4. It doesn't hurt nearly as much when you stop seeing  'struggle' as a thing to avoid. The challenges will show you what's inside you that's so longing to grow.
  5. It's  form of training. With this perspective, your problems won't hurt.  One of the best ways to manage your stress is to stop the self hate.
  6. The happiness pathfinder embraces the fall. That's YOU. It's part of your path. Your dreams will make you great! 
  7. There is a recipe to happy living. The road to it is a worthwhile quest. 
  8. Ask yourself: Would you rather not try (to stay safe) or would you rather learn how to manage your stress?

Have you ever had an experience, where you've had a breakthrough [and then failed]?

Perhaps you lost all your extra weight, as an example. Then a few years later, you find yourself right back experiencing the same challenges. Usually it's something you think you've put behind you.

I call that recycling.

Recycling is what happens when we haven't quite had a shift at the deepest subconscious level to put it behind us forever.

Our mind is very clever. It gives us just what we need to experience what we're ready for at any one given time. Perhaps the first time you had the breakthrough, you weren't quite ready to handle the whole enchilada. What your mind has done, it's now saying:

'Okay, you've had a few years rest from that thing, and I'm gonna throw it out back at you just so you can play with it again.'

It's not a bad thing. It's a wonderful thing, because what's gonna happen is now you're going to be able to take yourself to entirely other level. You may think you are back at square one but you're never back at square one.  You've got know that.

Just think of a helix. It starts down here [at the bottom] and goes round and round and round [moving upwards].

This is where you started [at the bottom].  You're not here. You're now here [higher up the helix] but you're at the same vertical point in the helix that you were when you were struggling with that issue down here. (The video demos this)

Learn to love the journey. When you're recycling stuff it is the material for you to evolve and expand even further.

Don't be afraid of it.

The titanic wasn't sunk by what it could see, the titanic was sunk by what it couldn't see.

Think of the iceberg and imagine that iceberg.  The titanic captain could only see the tip of the ice berg. He couldn't see everything that was going on underneath the ocean and you're the same too.

Many of the decisions you're making and many of the times you're looking for solutions come from only what you know. From that block that we call the light - the Known.


When you recycle, it forces you to go into the unknown.
When you're wanting authentic happiness, this is the only place to go.

 The unknown is not only the place where you store all your negative memories and your negative patterns - it is also the place of your light, your potential, your wisdom.

That recycling is helping you to grow muscles because every time you go round, your muscles get stronger and stronger and stronger. Until you're finally strong enough to go over your (stress) edge and experience a whole new breakthrough.

When you learn to ride a bike you fall again and again and again.

What do you do when you find yourself in that recycling,
and it feels so hard? Embrace this greatest happiness principle. Everything in life if FOR you. 

I want you to remember how far you've come. You're not at the beginning again.  I want you to acknowledge all the baby steps you've taken. I know it can be sore. I know it can feel really difficult. Perhaps that darkness has become heavy again. It's just a moment in time.

This too shall pass.

One of the favorite stories that was told to me is about this old man in China.  Wild horses come in his way. He manages to capture the wild horses. His neighbour says to him.

"Hmm good luck. You've got a lot of good luck."

The old man says: "Maybe maybe not."

His son decides to tame the horses. He falls off breaks his leg. The neighbour says: "Ah, what bad luck you have."

The old man says: "Maybe, maybe not"

The country breaks out into a war. The military come. They want to pick up all the sons but his son has a broken leg so they don't take him. The neighbour says:  "What good luck you have."

The old man says maybe, maybe not.

You may think that something is bad news for you. But that thing that is such bad news, may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. You may think that something is good news for you. That good news may turn out to have been a curse.

In other words there is no such thing is as a curse. Everything has its purpose. I'm asking you to have faith that whatever your experience is you are just simply recycling and you will grow more from it.
