You've chased authentic happiness all your life. Even if you're part of the lucky few, there's gotta be more right?

You've looked for it in sex, drugs and rock n' roll.  In relationships and good food. In money and bad-ass attitude. You've chased goals. Worked hard. Some gained, others lost.  You've imagined lazy days at the beach with four-hour work weeks. Or scorned at those who claim such a lot. 

Underneath though, a quiet desperation breathes. Even on the good days, it's not enough to please. You look to someone to fill you up. Only emptiness breeds. 

Until life falls apart. You're no longer young. You had big dreams. Your marriage isn't what it used to be. Your body no longer fit and free. You're a couch potato by night, and a stuck in a job you once loved, now you hate. 

Your stress lives BIG. You live small. There's no control. You don't know who you are anymore. You're terrified of losing the one you love (whom you also hate). You feel such a NEED.

Have you ever thought about what happiness really, really looks like? Or what it means? Do you understand your true desires and dreams?

We often expect people in our lives to make us happy. We believe that's where authentic happiness lies. And when they don't, we blame them for our misery.

Dear Heart! Welcome To Kalavati Cafe. My name is Jo Hazelhurst-Ntsebeza. I'm a Hapiness Chef, Relationship Explorer, a teacher, a coach, a counsellor, passionate vegan and founder of the online FreshStart Bootcamp Series and The Emotional Reboot Programme.I've worked for over 23 years with women who lose themselves in those they love and believe they need. This was once me.

I was once so unhappy in my own life, I didn't want to be in this world.

I'm living dreams I once thought hopelessly impossible. 

I felt useless. I thought if could just be a functional depressed person, like a functional alcoholic. At least then,  I would be productive if nothing else. But it was unbearable to me that I could spend more years in pain.

I thought love would save me. From someone else I mean. I had to go inside me. To build a relationship with me. 

I taught myself every happiness habit I could get my hands on. I trained myself up the emotional well-being scale. I've not ever been good at sticking to anything in my life. I start things and don't finish. Despite my inconsistency, and it didn't happen all at once...

Relationships are my playground for my own growth. I am an internal explorer of my own soul. 

...I've trained myself into feeling what I call authentic happiness. I would love to show you how you how to be happy. 

Do you dare to seek yourself first? 

You live in a world of limitless possibility - more than any other time in our history. 

You're told you can be anything. To dream big, to be more. You look around, you compare. Your heart sinks to the floor. You're exhausted from so many doors. None, seem a reality you know how to walk. 

You know what you don't want intimately.  You talk and you talk. You feel so damm bad inside. You're scared you won't feel alive - ever again. 

You've measured your worth. You think you've failed. you're spent. Your heartaches. 

"JUST GIMME A BREAK!" - you've scream. `"Life is so unfair!"

You wanna learn how to be happy - unconditionally.

Whatever that means. Right?

Common question on authentic happiness my clients ask me are:

  • Why am I so unhappy, especially in my relationships?
  • What are the secrets of happiness?
  • How do I stop feeling so stressed and burnt out?

My own quest to answer these questions, inspired me to start Kalavati Happiness Café, a platform that provides people with a fresh start.
